The Hermosa Design Company began as Hermosa Boda. Born out of an increasingly obvious gap in the market for experts in the creation of fully immersive spatial experiences provided primarily through scenic design, Hermosa Boda was launched in 2014 at Ighiwiyisi’s sister’s wedding.

Since its inception, Hermosa Boda has grown to become Africa’s leading service in spatial design, as well as visual merchandising. This growth necessitated the formation of The Hermosa Design Company, an entity spanning five disciplines of design including fabric and package design.

As Creative Director of The Hermosa Co, Ighiwiyisi is tasked with conceptualising, illustrating, building and deploying of various immersive consumer experiences, a task she has created a reputation of being successful art with each each new project.

The Hermosa Co is carefully and deliberately positioned to cater to the needs of corporate and private entities whose desire it is to build worlds of wonder for delightful immersive interaction, both virtually and physically.
